Sewing Machine Buying Tips

I had a hard time finding helpful articles on how to go about finding the right sewing machine. I’ve only ever used my mom’s Singer, it’s been around for over 10 years and works like a charm. When it came time for me to purchase my very own I wasn’t sure for what I was looking for. I’ve compiled a list of things to consider and links of sites I looked at prior to purchasing my new toy! >.<

Here are some questions to consider:

• What are you looking for? (Beginner, Heavy Duty, Simple)

• What features are you looking for? (number of stitches, computerized, automatic)

• What do you want it for? (business, hobby)

Also, remember:

• What’s your budget!?!

• Is something cheaper going to do what you want?

• Is something more expensive what you need?
